PENSION ACCREDITATION

As a member of the National Institute of Pension Administrators, locally owned Indicator Advisory Corporation has announced that President Bob Kneisley has been awarded accreditation as an Accredited Pension Representative by the National Institute of Pension Administrators.

Mr. Kneisley stated that in 2006 mutual fund retirement assets in America surpassed the $10 trillion mark. “While investors think that they are investing ‘long-term’, they need to be aware that the vast majority of growth stock funds have internal ‘turnover ratios’ over 100%! That fact inflates both clearing costs in addition to ‘bid/ask’ spread costs thus reducing performance. Our passive styles overcome these and many other deficiencies.”

The Accredited Pension Representative designation is earned through the successful completion of courses and examinations with an emphasis on the structure of Defined Contribution, 401(k) plans.  The designation also requires several National Association of Securities Dealers licenses which Mr. Kneisley has held for thirty years.  The designation also includes the annual completion of ten hours of continuing education to assure adequate knowledge of current qualified plan trends and legal requirements.

The firm specializes in the selection and monitoring of money managers nationally for select clients seeking cost-effective, passive investment strategies for individual, corporate and qualified accounts as well.
